Bringing over 20 years of experience in audit, accounting, taxation, and corporate advisory, including eight years with Big Four firms across the region and the Gulf. Further professional experience includes working with leading financial institutions in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, with a focus on internal audit, corporate advisory, and debt capital markets.

• Audit, Accounting & Taxation: Extensive experience serving more than 100 entities, including major regional institutions and businesses across pharmaceutical, petrochemical, soft drinks, steel, textile, manufacturing, trading, and service industries, as well as government-related entities. Experience includes audit engagements and due diligence assignments.

• Accounting & Financial Systems: Expertise in financial planning, accounting system design, implementation, process improvement, and automation.

• Tax Advisory & Problem Solving: Experience addressing complex tax matters and resolving tax-related challenges for local and international groups of companies.

• Risk Management & Compliance: Broad experience across credit, operational, and market risk, as well as internal controls, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.

• Business Transformation & Reengineering: Contributed to planning and implementing business improvements and restructuring initiatives valued at more than USD 550 million.

• Corporate Restructuring & Syndication Advisory: Advised large corporate clients on financing and restructuring transactions valued at approximately USD 6 billion, covering transaction structuring, restructuring, legal documentation, and implementation.

• Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Major) – Ain Shams University, Egypt.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – United States; Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) since 2006.

• Member of the Egyptian Society of Taxation (MEST).
